Noblelift has launched its dual-power option forkliftNoblelift North America has launched its Alpha Series pneumatic forklifts which it says is the first time a single forklift platform has been purpose-built for both lithium-ion and LPG power options.
The ALPHA 50–60 Li has a lift capacity of between 5,000 and 6,000 lbs. (2,268 and 2,722kg) and is powered by Noblelift’s LiFePO4 lithium-ion battery system.
It has a heavy-duty steel chassis and mast, axles which Noblelift says are comparable to an internal combustion truck, as well as an onboard charger for rental fleet applications.
The ALPHA 50–60 LPG has the same construction features and lift capacity but is powered by a Kubota 56.2 HP/2,600 rpm LPG engine.
Both have four-way hydraulics to carriage, fully hydrostatic power steering, integrated side shift and multi-function LCD display.
The Alpha Series has been designed for indoor and outdoor applications.
“Creating a forklift series that is essentially the same with the exception of how it is powered is exactly the kind of innovation and future-focused engineering you should expect from Noblelift” says Bill Pedriana, president of Noblelift North America.
“The Alpha Series allows customers to choose the power source that best fits their operation, without sacrificing performance, comfort, familiarity or parts compatibility with other trucks in their fleet.”
Noblelift says future lithium conversion kits will offer the opportunity for Alpha LP forklifts to upgrade to lithium power.
