Hyster NZ has joined Adaptalift Group
Hyster New Zealand, the forklift and materials handling solutions provider founded in 1945 as Gough Materials Handling, is now operating in New Zealand as Adaptalift Group.
The transformation follows the acquisition of the company by Adaptalift, an Australian materials handling and fleet management solutions provider, in February this year.
"Hyster New Zealand is a strong business with deep customer relationships, great technical expertise, and a nationwide footprint," says Steven Taylor, CEO of Adaptalift Group.
Taylor says that, now the new name is set in place, the organisation’s initial focus will be on supporting business continuity, and working closely with management, employees, and customers to ensure service levels are maintained.
"We want to develop a deep understanding of where we can best add value to existing customers – through product knowledge, technology solutions, and access to a wide parts inventory," he says.
The development coincides with the 80th anniversary of Hyster NZ (now Adaptalift Group).
According to the company, the integration opens the door to an expanded suite of products and solutions, increased support capabilities, and greater trans-Tasman opportunities for customers.
In addition, it says customers will have ongoing access to Hyster's brand and support teams.
