Wolter Inc continues expansionUS material handling solutions provider Wolter Inc has acquired Illinois-headquartered full-service materials handling business Midway Industrial Equipment, which it says “bolsters its forklift and warehouse equipment capabilities, and strengthens its presence in the Midwest”.
Midway Industrial Equipment carries a large range of new and pre-owned forklifts, batteries, chargers, industrial equipment and warehouse solutions and services the Chicago and northern Indiana areas.
Wolter Inc has been expanding its footprint in recent years having acquired crane and hoist manufacturer Cincinnati Crane & Hoist (CC&H) in August 2024, allowing it to “expand our offerings of crane and hoist solutions as it to “expand our offerings of crane and hoist solutions”.
Other recent acquisitions by Wolter Inc have included Ohio Valley Maintenance in December 2022, Valley Industrial Crane in Dayton Ohio in April 2022 and Integrity Industrial Equipment in Huber Heights, Ohio in August 2020.
Financial details of the Midway Industrial Equipment acquisition were not released.
