Movie stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds discuss forklifts on Hot Ones

Canadian movie star Ryan Reynolds has revealed a fear of forklifts while promoting his latest movie, Deadpool and Wolverine.

Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman were guests on the cult Youtube talk show Hot Ones, where guests eat chicken wings with a series of progressively spicy sauces while being interviewed by host Sean Evans.

Midway through Reynolds and Jackman’s segment posted on July 26, the day the film opened in the United States and China, Evans asks: "What was the worst accident or hairiest situation you found yourself in as a forklift driver at the Safeway at 25th and Oak in Vancouver?"

Reynolds says he worked with ride-on forklifts as well as pallet jacks.

"I crushed my ankle a couple of times on those forklifts," he says.

"(The) walking ones are the scary ones; those will %$#@ (mess) you up.

"You back it up and you realise you're standing right next to an industrial refrigerator.

“It just jams you right into it and you're like 'Oh, this is how they'll find me'."
