The big news this week is the takeover of UK logistics firm Wincanton by America’s GXO Logistics in a deal worth nearly USD1 billion.

We also bring you news of new forklift fleet technology, a new diesel forklift model and a prestigious design award.

On a sadder note, forklift fatalities continue to climb around the world, with deaths in the United States and Asia.
