Automation has received a significant boost with the announcement that DHL Supply Chain has deployed AGVs for the first time in the United States. Following in the tracks of global retailer Amazon, DHL is adding autonomous forklifts to increase warehouse efficiency, workplace safety and employee satisfaction.
While a single AGV implementation may not be earth-shattering, what is significant is the company's commitment to continuous innovation and digital transformation which will see similar roll-outs at more than 2,200 warehouses worldwide. That, potentially, is a lot of AGVs and a very lucrative contract for suppliers.

Words of support …

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
