COVID-19 continues to dominate the news in materials handling. This week, we report on the first evidence of the financial impact of the pandemic for manufacturers. We also include some "feel good" stories like a Chinese manufacturer sending medical supplies to its foreign agents in the most affected countries and the role of freight and logistics giants like UPS and DB Schenker.
These are interesting times for the forklift sector, with some manufacturers re-opening closed production facilities and others soon set to follow suit, as countries like Italy lift restrictions.
And, amid all of this, we continue to see new models hitting the market.
So, it's certainly not all doom and gloom.
