Many of our Chinese readers are in the throes of celebrating Chinese New Year.
This is the Year of the Dog, and, alas, for people born under this sign (in 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994 and 2006), it looks like it will be a dog of a year. Those who interpret the signs say it's their most unlucky year, with trouble and danger lurking at every turn.
Despite the omens, we wish all our readers a Happy New Year: 新年快乐
