Rhenus Logistics has added 21 Effidence AMR stackersRhenus Logistics has added 21 AMR stackers at its facility in Saint Quentin Fallavier.
The Rhenus Group is one of the world's leading logistics specialists with 820 locations offering transport, warehousing, customs clearance and value-added services.
The automated solution was implemented to meet the need for continuous improvement and optimisation of the site's order preparation process.
The fleet of robots operates completely autonomously and moves towards the items to be picked under guidance of the Reflex WMS, the Hardis Group warehouse management solution.
The project was an opportunity to demonstrate the performance of the collaboration between the Rhenus Logistics, Reflex and Effidence teams on the deployment of a complete, ergonomic and agile solution within a warehouse. The two vendors have combined their expertise by deploying EffiFCS, a fleet management interface, for Effidence and Reflex and the partners say this collaboration offers new joint perspectives on the WMS and flow automation tandem which will be applied in future projects.
Effidence has partnered with Manitou to distribute EffiBOT robots in Europe and robotise Manitou warehouse equipment.
