Talent in Logistics Postponed
Telford, United KingdomTalent in Logistics has postponed the fifth edition of its annual awards until 2022.
The Talent in Logistics Awards program recognises the talented people that work within the sector, including forklift operators and HGV drivers, and the teams of people behind the scenes who are responsible for training, health and safety, and more. It also focuses on initiatives that display best practice when it comes to sector recruitment, employee engagement, and people development.
Ruth Edwards, operations director at Talent in Logistics, says cancelling this year's awards was a very difficult decision "and we are very disappointed as we were so eager to welcome the industry for another brilliant event".
"However, we are certain this is the most responsible course of action at this time. To keep everyone safe, and give us the best opportunity to celebrate these efforts, we feel it is responsible to postpone."
The awards will return in 2022, and Talent in Logistics will release full details for the event in due course.

Logistics UK confirms 2021 awards
Tunbridge Wells, United KingdomNow in its fifth year, Logistics UK's prestigious awards ceremony will once again take place at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster on 9 December 2021.
Stand-up comedian, podcaster and radio presenter Ed Gamble will present the awards at this year's event.
"Having established Logistics UK's annual awards ceremony as the Blue Riband event in our sector, we are delighted to have secured someone of the calibre of Ed as our entertainment for the evening," says Kevin Green, director of marketing and communications for Logistics UK.
"After an incredibly hard 18 months for our sector, everyone is looking forward to enjoying themselves and I know Ed's dry wit and laugh-out-loud humour will put a smile on the faces of everyone who attends. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to witness one of Britain's brightest comic talents up close and I am certain that tickets for the event will sell very quickly as a result."
