Yokohama TWS has appointed Lawrence Harmon to the position of regional president for North and Central America.
With more than 30 years' experience in the tyre sector, most recently as president Global OE Business at Yokohama ATG, Harmon has a proven track record in sales and marketing leadership.
At Yokohama TWS Harmon will be responsible for business strategy, leading market growth and further developing the commercial team

Apollo Tyres has named well-known supply chain expert Ravi Prakash Mathur to the role of head of global freight and projects.
Mathur brings to the position more than 30 years' experience in the supply chain and logistics sectors and in 2024 was named as one of India’s Most Impactful Supply Chain Leaders by ET Now.
Mathur was VP of supply chain management with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories for 18 years, is a respected business mentor and is currently co-chair of the Shipping and Logistics Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Benz Sirikorn Mecasuwandamrong

Logistics UK has named technology graduate Benz Sirikorn Mecasuwandamrong as the Rising Star of the Year at its annual Logistics Awards held in London in December.
Mecasuwandamrong has spent the last 15 months employed at supply chain solutions provider Ligentia under its graduate technology program, and was recognised for her “exceptional dedication and innovative contributions to logistics”.
Logistics UK chief executive David Wells says of the accolade: “Benz's enthusiasm, proactive approach, and commitment to professional growth alongside her dedication, quick learning, and strong teamwork caught the judges’ eye”.
