For over 75 years, Cascade has been partnering with customers to help solve their ever-changing materials handling challenges. Our advanced solutions lead the materials handling industry, but ultimately, people are the core of Cascade's mission. Our unparalleled service sets us apart in the industry, and we strive for close, continuous support of our customers. If a Cascade customer has a need, we'll find a way to meet it.

Cascade Has Your Solution

Cascade is always ready and eager to help find the best materials handling solution. One of our guiding principles is that of continuous improvement and we are always looking for new and revolutionary solutions to interesting challenges. Our expansive array of products serves a wide variety of industries and applications, and is constantly growing as we develop new products to address industry trends like energy efficiency, digital integration, AGVs and more. Some of our latest products provide the tools that our customers need to stay on the cutting edge of their industry:

  • Camera Forks and Sensor Forks use a digital camera embedded in the fork tip to maximize visibility and precision when handling. With a live feed transmitted to a truck mounted display, operators can easily see where their fork meets the load. Sensor Forks also include an advanced sensor package, including distance sensing and more, for reduced product and pallet damage. Improve efficiency and performance in a wide range of applications, including high stacking, double deep pallet racking, low light environments and more. Sensor Forks are available in North America and will soon be available globally.

  • Weigh Forks are an easily implemented mobile weighing solution that eliminates the need for a stationary scale. For shipping, inventory, or piece counting, Weigh Forks make handling more efficient by combining transport and weighing into one easy step. Captured data is effortlessly transmitted via Bluetooth to the driver display and can be transferred to a Warehouse Management System for easy data management without the operator ever leaving the truck.

  • Cascade ForksetterTM, one of our latest digital accessories, removes driver guesswork with guided fork positioning. It uses a sensor to read the distance between the forks, which enables operators to automatically position the forks according to the load being handled. This eliminates the need for drivers to adjust the forks multiple times to ensure alignment with pallet pockets, improving equipment efficiencies and operator productivity. Forksetter is a valuable tool for warehousing, logistics, and any operation that works with variable load sizes.

Cascade forks and attachments are built to ensure that our customers can keep moving, even when faced with tough obstacles.

Customize Your Materials Handling

If you need a custom solution, Cascade sales, service, and engineering teams have the expertise to tackle any project. Cascade manufactures more custom attachments than anyone else in the industry. Customized attachments provide operators with special capabilities that simplify their workflows and increase efficiency, whether your solution requires complicated hydraulics, integration with AGVs, or special modifications for use in an extreme environment.

Cascade Layer Pickers, for example, which handle single or multiple layers of case goods for building mixed-load pallets, are specially built according to specific measurements and information based on customer interviews and site visits. With an attachment that's built to spec, customers can take advantage of reduced cost and increased efficiency, especially during high-demand periods.

Many other Cascade attachments are customized according to specific workflows at customer facilities. Cascade Forging Clamps, built for loading and unloading furnaces and forging presses, can be built with specific clamp arms for the many different shapes being handled in forging applications. We also build brand new, custom attachments for very specific applications. Learn more about our custom products process in the video below:

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
