Vernon Hills, IL -January 18, 2020 - The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association provides members reports and forecasts year-round to use in their business in 2020: employee compensation, financial benchmarking, and economic forecasting.

The Employee Compensation & Benefits Report contains detailed reviews of distributor executive and employee compensation and benefit programs including salaries, bonuses and more. Members can submit information starting January 15, and those who participate will receive a complementary custom copy of the report. Submissions will close on March 15.

The Distributors Statistical Comparison Report (DiSC) is an annual financial benchmarking study that provides key insights into exactly how the "high-profit firms" generate better profit numbers. It focuses intently on the three profit drivers: growth, gross margin, expenses, and individual responses are kept strictly confidential. Members can submit data as of February 15, and those that participate will receive a complementary custom copy of the report. Submissions will close on April 15.

In addition to ITR's economic forecasts provided quarterly to MHEDA members, ITR will provide a Custom Three-Year Advisory Report too. These reports contain data and information about seven markets applicable to the needs of material handling businesses.

  1. US Industrial Production
  2. Non-Defense Capital Goods New Orders w/o Aircraft
  3. US Material Handling Equipment New Orders
  4. US Warehouse Buildings Construction
  5. North America Light Vehicle Production
