TVH has acquired Independent Parts & Service
TVH Parts Holding NV has acquired the shares of UK-based company Independent Parts & Service Ltd (IPS), a dealer in replacement parts for mobile elevating work platforms and outrigger pads.

With this acquisition, TVH significantly increases its technical knowledge and commercial reach in the UK. The purchase also strengthens TVH's position in the UK.

According to a company statement, TVH and IPS will continue to work as usual, while making the necessary preparations for further collaboration and integration. Kevin Shadbolt will continue to manage IPS and grow the MEWP parts range within TVH UK.

Shadbolt welcomes the acquisition, saying it brings clear opportunities and benefits for IPS customers and the IPS team. "Our meetings with the TVH team are very constructive, and I am looking forward to an ambitious future together."

Prior to the acquisition of IPS in the UK, TVH Parts acquired IPS France (2014) and IPS Australia (2015).

TVH CEO Dominiek Valcke is confident TVH's customer service will benefit from the latest acquisition: "We are very proud that the IPS team is joining TVH Parts, and we are convinced that through the acquisition of IPS, we will significantly strengthen our technical expertise and commercial knowledge in MEWP replacement parts. As a group, we will be able to offer our customers better technical knowledge and support as well as a more extensive product portfolio."

IAPS Group was formed in 2013 through a merger between Access Platform Sales Ltd (APS) and Independent Parts and Service Ltd (IPS), two UK-based companies, each with a long and successful history of supporting owners and operators of powered access platforms.
