THIEVES USE FORKLIFT TO STEAL ATM

-- Burglars used a forklift to break into a supermarket and steal an automatic teller machine (ATM) on December 9.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told the Los Angeles Times that the robbery occurred about 4am at Gelson's market. The ATM was not bolted to the floor. The amount of cash stolen was not revealed.
