WorkSafe Victoria is inviting small business owners in Ballarat, Geelong, Traralgon, Shepparton and Warrnambool to attend free workshops to speak one-on-one with OHS experts.

As part of the Small Business Festival, WorkSafe will host the events where business owners will have the opportunity to speak with a panel of safety consultants, inspectors and insurance agents on any issue relating to workplace safety and workers' compensation.

The panel will provide information on OHS laws and employer obligations in helping injured workers return to work, and assist with any specific questions business owners may have.

The workshops also provide participants with the opportunity to apply for a free, independent and tailored safety assessment through WorkSafe's OHS Essentials Program.
