The "Life Program" aims to develop female leadership

The third edition of the “Life Program”, an initiative aimed at developing female leadership in the maritime and port fields, is currently taking place in Panama.

Scheduled to run from March 18 to 21, the initiative brings together leading professionals from Latin America to provide them with key tools in strategic leadership, effective communication, emotional intelligence, and resilience.

Organized by PR Ports and Multimodal, “Life” has already trained more than a hundred professionals, promoting significant changes in their careers and in the industry.

“Life represents an invaluable opportunity to strengthen these capacities in our professionals and thus contribute to the equitable and sustainable growth of the port and maritime sector in Latin America," says Elvia Bustavino, partner of Multimodal.

Highlights of the four-day event include keynote lectures and practical workshops by international experts such as Beatriz Tórrez Ticona (CEO of Elemental Logistics), Lisbeth Thomas (human resources and labor relations manager of APM Terminals Costa Rica), María Eugenia Ávila de Brizuela (executive coach for INCAE) and Cibeles de Freitas (CEO at PR5).

In addition to the training activities, the initiative also includes technical visits to SSA Marine MIT and the Panama Canal locks, as well as exclusive meetings with industry leaders.

"Life transforms careers and inspires positive change across the industry,” says Zulma Dinelli, CEO of PR Ports. “We are proud to see how this program continues to grow and consolidate itself as a benchmark in the region.”
