The Battery Show returns to Novi, Michigan (12-14 September, 2017) for an unrivalled knowledge-sharing and networking experience alongside the largest supply chain exhibition of its kind in North America. Now in its eighth consecutive year, The Battery Show is widely acknowledged as the meeting place for the North American energy storage industry.

Once again co-located with Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Conference, The Battery Show Conference attracts thought leaders and experienced professionals from across the battery supply chain, as well as key government representatives, academics and technical experts.

The first speakers have recently been confirmed, including Milind Gandhi, Bolt EV Battery Pack Engineering Group Manager, General Motors, Swami Venkataraman, SVP - Global Project and Infrastructure Finance, Moody's, Carrie Okma, Lithium-ion Cell/Chemistry Specialist, FCA, Angela Duren. Product Management Director, A123 Systems, OuJung Kwon, Ph.D., Cell Chemistry Technical Expert, Ford Motor Company, Prof. Stanley Whittingham, Director, Institute for Materials Research, Binghampton University, Bob Flicker, COO, East Penn Manufacturing, Robert Galyen, Ph.D., CTO, CATL, Gary Horvat, CTO, Proterra

Building on the highly successful multi-track format of recent years, the 2017 event features a day of workshops followed by a three-track, three-day conference. More than 150 expert speakers from OEMs, Tier 1s, government, academic and research organisations will meet to offer key insights into the latest developments in battery markets and on ground-breaking, commercially viable technologies.

At the heart of the agenda, diverse sessions will take on a global outlook for the battery sector, next generational materials, 48V battery architecture, efficient battery manufacturing, XEV battery design and ESS in a comprehensive program. 2017 once again has a predicted growth in delegate numbers, drawn by the consistently forward-looking formats and subject matters including new pre-conference workshops on 'Battery testing' taking place the day before the conference kicks off.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
