On Wednesday, 31st August 2016, The Local Business Awards hosted the Auburn Council business awards dinner. Lencrow Materials Handling was nominated as a finalist in the Specialised Business category.

Lencrow Materials Handling has proudly been delivering forklift services from their Silverwater location since 1976 and celebrated their 40th anniversary in July 2016.
Ross Grassick, founder and director, accepted the award on the evening for the team. Ross said the following words after being announced as the winner.

"Thank you to everyone who voted for us and to the sponsors. This is a really great award, this is our 40th year in business and what makes our business so good is the people who work with in Lencrow. If you have great people, you will have a great business.
Thank you."

Congratulations to Lencrow Materials Handling for being recognised in your local area for continued contribution to community.
The win came in a historical year as this is the final year The Local Business Awards will be recognised for the Auburn City Council area. The Auburn Council will be amalgamated in to a larger council entity including Holroyd City Council and part of Parramatta City Council as part of the existing Cumberland Council.
