Jungheinrich has taken over the assets and operations of BME Group. |
Following the acquisition of a dealership in Malaysia and the majority stake in NTP Forklifts in Australia in 2015, Jungheinrich is forging ahead with the expansion of its direct sales organisation as part of its international growth strategy.
The company has recently established a sales division in Chile, South America's third-largest materials handling equipment market. This company is scheduled to begin operations in April, taking over the assets and staff of Spitec Renta Lift.
A similar model has been used in South Africa, where Jungheinrich has taken over the assets and operations of BME Group.
Dr. Lars Brzoska, member of the Board of Management in charge of sales, notes that the latest acquisitions mean Jungheinrich has its own sales companies in 36 countries around the world. "In line with the group's strategy, we are resolutely expanding our global network, enabling us to tap and exhaust market potential more comprehensively," he says.
Jungheinrich ranks among the world's leading materials handling equipment manufacturers.
