RedMart, the Singapore-based online grocery giant, has recently set up a new fulfilment centre for grocery e-commerce orders. The fulfilment centre is separated into four distinct temperature-controlled areas to ensure that grocery items are stored in the most suitable environment. Using a combination of the Selective Pallet Racking, Carton Live Storage, Long Span Shelving and Free Standing Mezzanine, SSI Schaefer has helped the customer double their order picking rates. Presently housing a total of more than 15,000 SKUs, the new fulfilment centre is ready to facilitate RedMart's expansion to over 50,000 SKUs.

- Cold Storage Solution - AL Seer Group, UAE
Recognising the fact that every customer's requirements are unique, SSI Schaefer installed a mix of storage systems for the Al Seer project to help them achieve their goals. The installation includes the Schaefer Orbiter System, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) and Selective Pallet Racking Systems which created a total of more than 21,000 pallet locations. With an improvement in accessibility, Al Seer can now conveniently carry out picking and replenishment activities in between aisles concurrently, thus increasing efficiency.

- Channel Storage System - IQF Foods Limited, India
IQF Foods was previously using the method of ground storage, which caused retrieval activities to be a bottleneck in their warehouse operations. In addition, the growing market demand has led to a need for larger storage capacity. SSI Schaefer implemented a solution using the Schaefer Orbiter System, which compresses storage for maximum space utilisation, and increases warehouse operation efficiency through partially automated storage and retrieval activities.

Serving a wide array of industries, Leschaco is one of the larger international logistics providers in Thailand. In this expansion project, Leschaco required a storage solution to maximise storage capacity in their public warehouse. In order to meet the customer's requirements, SSI Schaefer installed the Selective Pallet Racking System which created a total of 9,500 pallet locations. The storage solution improves Leschaco's efficiency and provides flexibility for storage of both European and Asian pallets.
