The New Sleek Look EPT20-15ET2
boast a comprehensive range of electrical warehouse equipment that is applicable to a range of different palletised applications. The design and utility features are unique to the brand and proudly covet numerous patents for their products. The electric pallet mover that featured in last year's International Reddot Design Awards won the award for "Most Innovated Product for 2014". The design was not a reinvention but an innovation. An insightful design that paid close attention to the operability and functionality of how operators handle palletised loads to reduce strain.
Original EPT20-15ET 2014 Reddot Design Product Winner
All over the world pallet movers are used and applied in a variety of industries and if you look closer to home there is always discussions about adopting and implementing safer handling practices in workplaces. Safer handling strategies ensure operators are exposed to reduced risk of injury, the loaded product is handled properly and other employees in the immediate area are safe. Manual handling equipment has been identified as potentially unsafe to operate if the load or pallet is used incorrectly. EP Equipment acknowledged the need for easier handling and redesigned the pallet truck so that operators could manage pallets without being physically loaded.
The EPT20-15ET model 1500kg pallet truck from last year's Reddot Design Award was reported by EP Equipment as their fastest selling product internationally. The feedback they received from around the globe confirmed it was smoother and easier to operate. The electric pallet jack utilises power drive and power lift from a battery source and can be charged between uses. The technical advantages of this design include an emergency stop belly button, anti-roll back mechanism and speed control for improved safety. Ergonomic innovations include a longer handle to control loads safely from a distance that has improved visibility and smoother navigation for operators using simple fingertip controls.
Removable battery cover
The newest version of this model is being launched this month through Lencrow Materials Handling in Australia - the EPT20-15ET2

The new design is a lighter in overall service weight (<20kg), features a newly positioned emergency stop belly button for ultimate safety and now includes a detachable battery cover for easier access to the battery and maintenance. The new design gives the pallet truck a sleek and narrow look. The power has not been compromised to accommodate the lighter service weight because EP Equipment has installed new gel batteries in the pallet trucks that improve the longevity of parts and increased the hours of operation.
