Danish firm introduces new product group
Ribe, Denmark

Logitrans A/S is launching a new product group on 1 September. The LogiQ200 and LogiQ300 quarter pallet lifters will be available worldwide, but primarily in countries where the manufacturer has dealer representation.
Sales director Gitte Kirkegaard says: "Quarter pallets are often chosen for the commonly used display pallets, and our new lifters are therefore perfect when transporting quarter pallets in supermarkets, storage and packing areas and gas stations."
The LogiQ 200 is designed for lifting and moving quarter pallets to the location of display while the LogiQ 300 is designed for lifting quarter pallets from/to a pallet and moving them to the requested location in the shop.
The LogiQ 300 was showcased at the CeMAT fair in Hannover, Germany in May.

Linde extends portfolio, launches new trucks
Wiesbaden, Germany

Linde Material Handling (Linde MH) has introduced four new reach trucks to its portfolio. The Linde R10B to R16B models in the 1.0 to 1.6 T load capacity range supplement the current reach truck series as entry-level models. The new models are designed for light to medium-duty applications, lifting heights of up to 8 m (26 ft.).
The key features of the Linde R14 to R20 Performance series introduced to the market last year are also reflected in the B series. These features include the uncoupled workstation, the operating console that can be adjusted longitudinally, the rheological steering system (which enables the steering resistance and number of steering turns to be set), the height-adjustable driver's seat, the load wheel brakes, the adjustable forward reach and pull back damping for the lift mast and the end position damping for the upper end stop.
"Around half of all reach trucks are used for work at lifting heights of up to eight metres. With the new entry-level models, Linde is offering a cost-effective alternative to the Performance variant of the reach truck for applications that do not constantly demand a high level of handling performance," explains Linde spokesman Alexander Schmidt.

Linde MH has also launched a range of warehouse trucks equipped with lithium-ion batteries.
Jana Vitkova, warehouse product manager at Linde Material Handling (UK), says: "The introduction of lithium-ion batteries into our trucks is an important step towards offering our customers a greener and more economical way of operating which is something that is at the forefront of our business."
The market launch of Linde warehouse trucks featuring the innovative battery technology will take place in two stages. The roll out will start with the Linde T16 to T20 pedestrian pallet trucks, which are equipped with either an 83Ah or 166Ah battery capacity equivalent to 1.82 or 3.64kWh.
The second stage is planned for early 2015 and will see the introduction of T16 to T20 pedestrian pallet trucks with larger capacity batteries and other models. These include the T20 to T24 AP/SP pallet trucks with fixed or folding platforms, the Linde N20 and N20HP low-level order pickers and the P30C and P50C tow tractors. All of the trucks will be equipped with batteries offering 207 or 414AH capacity, equivalent to 4.54 or 9.09kWh.

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale.
