BEDFORD PARK, Illinois, May, 2014 - Hoist Liftruck is in full production of the
new FR Series extendable counterweight forklift. Multiple units have been built with customers taking delivery this May.
The first
FR 40/60, sold to a major automotive manufacturer in Russell's Point, Ohio will take delivery of the extendable counterweight in early May where it will help in supporting daily operations of their manufacturing facility.
The
FR 40/60 was built on a 98-inch wheelbase with a 36-inch load center and features: GM 3.0L engine, 2-speed Rexroth hydrostatic transmission, AxleTech heavy-duty planetary drive axle, open cab with overhead guard, extendable counterweight with removable slabs, removable boom with interchangeable/quick change forks, easy-access service points, and RemoteTech
® vehicle diagnostics system.
Optional features available include dead man seat switch, safety (neon orange) seatbelt with switch, air-ride seat, back up camera and monitor, eyes on carriage to secure loads and additional safety lights and mirrors.
With the completion of the first
FR 40/60,
