Pyroban France extends explosion protection support nationwide. |
UK-headquartered explosion protection specialist Pyroban has invested in its French operation to enhance the support provided in the region.
The facility in Lyon will benefit Pyroban France with its "new management team, fresh approach to customer service and an improved technical centre". It will also provide explosion-proof conversions for all forklift brands and associated dealers in France.
Philippe Cren, sales manager at Pyroban France, explains that Pyroban equipment is used throughout the chemical supply chain and related industries where flammable material is handled. "Additionally, the new added safety system for vehicles, Gascheka duo, is available for local installation on customer sites in France."
Pyroban France will also provide hazardous area consultation and training services nationwide under the direction of technical and training manager Maxime Buffetrille.
Mark Towell, global commercial and business development director for the Pyroban Group, says: "We now have more field service engineers strategically placed close to key industrial zones across France to support planned and unplanned maintenance, as well as additional sales strength to further develop the relationships with our customers."
Pyroban has been in Lyon for over 12 years and has a history in France that stretches back to the late 1980s, with roots in Paris.
"We are in the business of safety and it is important, as a global company, to provide a sustained local service in the local language and culture," Towell says.
The company's explosion-proof conversions are ATEX 94/9/EC-compliant and are mainly carried out in its two facilities located in the UK and The Netherlands.
