Kristian Björkman has been appointed the new managing director at Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE)'s BT Products AB. Björkman will join BT from 1 January 2014, bringing 18 years of experience in manufacturing industries in an international environment. He is currently director of global manufacturing at DeLaval (Tetra Laval Group) and is responsible for over 10 international operations, including Sweden.
The current managing director of BT Products, Anders Claesson, has decided to leave the company for an external position after his four years with the company. Claesson will leave the position on 1 December. Ambrogio Bollini, senior vice president supply at TMHE, will act as an interim managing director.

Southwest Materials Handling Co has named Darren Marsack as director of sales. Marsack has spent most of the last nine years in the trade show and live event production industry, primarily with Dallas-based Freeman Company.

Clark Material Handling Company has appointed Farrukh Ghani as chief financial officer for its North America operations. Since joining Clark in 2000, Ghani has held managerial roles in the finance and information technology departments, including most recently as vice president of finance and technology. He is a certified public accountant.

Jungheinrich has appointed Nigel Avison as product sales manager for racking and storage systems for the South East region of the UK. Avison has spent the past 12 years as an independent consultant in the storage industry. He has held senior sales positions with storage equipment suppliers and has experience in the technical and direct sales disciplines.
