Nathan Taylor, General Manager of Dematic is presenting a seminar on the voice enabled warehouse of today - Beyond Picking. In his presentation Nathan will outline how voice technology has moved from just picking to span the entire warehouse or distribution centre - from put-away to replenishment and all the way to outbound shipping. Nathan will also be discussing where voice technology is at now and where it is headed in the future along with compelling business benefits that voice can afford your business. This is a must view seminar at 11am on Wednesday 3 July and Thursday 1pm at the show.

Gary Harley, General Manager of GS1 says "The recession is over. It's time for the new RFID!"
Don't miss Gary's seminar at 1pm on Wednesday the 3 July and 10am Thursday 4 July which covers the latest information and developments in RFID. Gary's seminar covers global developments as well as those happening right now in New Zealand and details a high profile New Zealand case study involving the use of RFID for tracking and tracing live deer from a South Island farm to cartons of venison to retailers in Germany.

Lead times are the most important calculation in having the ability to deliver a product or service on time. Ray Francis is presenting a seminar on mastering lead times. Ray says "If you break down the lead time into smaller components you can then measure and manage the individual performances and dramatically improve your lead time and customer satisfaction with goods or services being delivered on time". Attend Ray's workshop at 12pm on Wednesday 3 July or 2pm Thursday 4 July at the show.

Over 50 specialist suppliers from throughout New Zealand and Australia will present their products and services to decision-makers from importing, exporting, manufacturing, freight transport, warehousing, storage and distribution businesses. The MHL Show is the only event in New Zealand dedicated to materials handling, warehousing and logistics, and provides warehousing and distribution people the opportunity to explore new and innovative equipment, products and services.

A number of the MHL show exhibitors will be showing off their latest forklifts and fork hoists within the forklift demonstration arena. Buyers will be able to view the machines in action before making their purchasing decisions.

Visitors can look forward to the most current equipment, up-to-date services, developing technology, product launches and industry knowledge at New Zealand's one-of-a-kind trade show.

MHL 2013 runs in conjunction with The National Safety Show 2013, New Zealand's largest dedicated workplace safety show, and will be held in pavilions one and two at the ASB Showgrounds on 3 & 4 July.
