The Queensland division of the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA), in conjunction with the UQ Business School, is calling for nominations for its 2012 supply chain and logistics management scholarship worth almost AUD5,000.
Nominations for the scholarship, which includes tuition, course materials, and meals during a supply chain course, close on 22 October.
The course aims to help strategic decision makers and operational managers in domestic and international markets to manage logistics successfully across their businesses.
It demonstrates how to implement seamless processes for manufacturing and logistics, redefine supply chain processes, and optimise resources. Other topics include dynamic new product development; stock, transport and total-cost function modelling; innovative leadership; and sustainable operations.
