Briggs Equipment is offering visitors to its revamped company website an opportunity to win a netbook while enjoying a forklift-themed game.
The exclusive distributor of Yale Europe Material Handling forklifts in the UK will give away a Chrome netbook to the highest scorer of the "Forklift Madness" game found on its new website.
"We wanted to add a bit of fun to the launch of the new website and the Forklift Madness game is a great way of engaging people," says COO Chris Meinecke.

CeMAT Russia next month

Russian demand for modern industrial plant and machinery will be addressed at the Industrial Trade Fair Moscow on 25-28 September, at Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow.
Comprising the four trade shows of CeMAT Russia, MDA Russia, Industrial Automation Russia and Surface Russia, the event is organised by Deutsche Messe AG subsidiary OOO Deutsche Messe RUS in Moscow, and the ITE Group Plc, a UK-based trade fair company with offices in 11 countries.

Global line-up for ID WORLD

Conference host West Media has published the conference agenda for the 11th ID WORLD International Congress which takes place in Frankfurt, Germany on 16-18 October.
The global summit on security, mobility and traceability, organised by Mesago Messe Frankfurt, has attracted a global assembly of speakers, including Stan Li, director of Centre for Biometrics and Security Research in China; Bernard Benhamou, inter-ministerial delegate on Internet usage from France's Ministry of Industry and Digital Economy; and Dr Gérald Santucci, head of the European Commission's Unit Networked Enterprise and RFID.

Pupils help promote safety at JCB factory
Rocester, United Kingdom

School pupils at Ryecroft Middle School, in Rocester, participated in a competition to design safety posters for display at a JCB factory.
The winning poster by 10-year-old Sophie Lomas, who used a traffic light design, will be among the 16 posters to feature throughout the Backhoe Loader Business Unit, based at JCB's World Headquarters in Rocester.
The initiative was launched to promote the message of safety in the workplace to JCB's production employees.
