TNT Innight was chosen because its night-time service covers 26 European countries.
Crown Equipment Corp, one of the world's largest electric forklift manufacturers, has chosen TNT Innight to handle its European spare parts distribution.

"We are pursuing a strategy of expansion throughout Europe, so we need to be able to rely on high-quality, customer-oriented after-sales service to achieve our goals," explains Jan Bode, aftermarket manager at Crown.

With over 25 years of experience in the business, Bode knows the importance of parts availability for his customers. "Effective spare parts management is one of the most important keys to maximum productivity and minimal operating expenses. Therefore, we aim to provide our customers with the replacement parts they need as quickly as possible."

Innight was chosen because its night-time service covers 26 European countries. "In TNT Innight we have one night express service provider for the whole European aftermarket and don't have to bother with separate regional solutions," Bode says.

Replacement parts ordered by late afternoon are delivered from the central warehouse in Munich to the service technician's car during the night, with no need for a receipt. Parts ordered by Friday afternoon reach their destination that night, as well.

To take advantage of this service, customers give TNT Innight keys or access codes to their vehicles or other delivery location agreed on in advance. Innight currently holds 49,400 keys just for Germany.

Family-owned Crown has head offices in the US, Australia and Germany. Its global network consists of over 70 wholly owned subsidiaries and over 300 independent dealerships.
