Ragasco through its state of the art fully automated facility has supplied over six million composite LPG cylinders worldwide since 2000 and has recently received Department of Transportation (USA) & Transport Canada (Canada) approvals for their LPG cylinders for Forklift Trucks (FLT). The cylinders are available in two sizes 10 kg (22 lbs) and 14 kg (31 lbs).

The major advantage of Ragasco composite is the cylinder's light weight which is 50% less than steel and 25% less than an aluminum cylinder. The largest cylinder has an ex-valve tare weight of only 7.5 kg (16.5 lbs) giving a maximum weight of 21.5 kg (47.3 lbs) when full. All cylinders have identical tare weight which equates to reduced risk of overfilling due to incorrect tare weight identification.

The low weight combined with an ergonomic design makes the cylinder very easy to lift and handle plus they are also stackable for trouble-free storage. The single-piece pressure vessel is a seamless construction for maximum safety. The all-composite cylinder is corrosion-free and has a clean inner liner surface assuring no contamination to the engine.

The FLT cylinders can be delivered with a wide range of colors and valves for liquid service including a US configured UL listed multifunction valve with service connector, pressure relief valve and stop-fill function for filling in the horizontal position.
