Educators recognise suppliers News Story - 8 Dec 2011 ( #543 ) - Charlotte, NC, United States 1 min read An independent organisation of educators has recognised outstanding materials handling logistics content in its 2011 competition.Strategic and operations specialists Fortna Inc of West Reading, Pennsylvania won first place for "Building a Business Case for Your Material Handling System Investment".Intelligrated Inc of Mason, Ohio, a provider of automated materials handling solutions, won second place for "Conventional versus Robotic Palletising" and tied for third place with gantry robotic system firm RMT Robotics Ltd of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. RMT and Ulvila, Finland-based Cimcorp Oy constitute the Cimcorp Oy Group.In the third place recognition, the Intelligrated content involved "DC Retrofit Meets Christopher and Banks' Growth Needs for Flexible Supply Chain", and the RMT content dealt with "Automated Case Picking 2009".The College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education announced the winners during the annual membership meeting of the Charlotte-based Material Handling Industry of America trade association.
