BT Lift Trucks Pty Ltd has won a contract to supply 77 forklifts to the Western Australian operation of supermarket chain Woolworths.

BT Lift Trucks general manager Jason Marshall said the deal was signed this month. He would not reveal details of the contract's value.

BT's low-level order pickers and loading trucks had been chosen for the deal, though specific numbers and model types had not been confirmed.

Mr Marshall said the units would be delivered early next year.
