KEYTROLLER offers 3 different types of wireless radios:Wireless options are designed for
different monitoring capabilities and
different budgets . The top of the line
LCD 601 device includes built in WiFi radio which is configured to work within the same encryption security used in the network. KEYTROLLER'S WiFi has NO monthly subscription costs since all data is transmitted through the user's LAN (Local Area Network) directly into software residing on their own server. The built in WiFi makes it easy for any forklift fleet user to transfer data through their own AP network.
If the company does not have an existing WiFi wireless infrastructure KEYTROLLER now offers it's
KEY-MESH system. It is a LAN (Local Area Network) that includes a wired host router module connected by Cat 5 cable to the user's network and 2 repeaters that simply plug into a 110VAC outlet. Users simply plug the included hard wired "host" router into the network and put additional "repeaters" around BETWEEN the one plugged into the network and where you want better coverage. These repeaters are self configuring and increase range up to an additional 150' by each one. Additional "plug in" repeaters can be added to further increase range by simply plugging them in at the extremity of the connectivity circle. Since there are no cables from the router to the repeaters, the system is exceedingly easy to install and set up.
KEYTROLLER'S keypad 105 model has all the capabilities of the
LCD601 but with no LCD display, the device can not automate the daily checklist. The unit is upgradeable to an RFID card reader and can be ordered with optional external WiFi, Zigbee or Bluetooth radios. Companies with smaller fleets find the keypad 105 a very effective and affordable way to control access, monitor usage and make drivers accountable for damaging impacts and excessive speeds. Simple and affordable CYBERTOOTH Zigbee radios simply plug into the device's serial port where it gets it's power. Zigbee systems have two host options. One is a single host radio is plugged into the serial port of the computer housing the KEYSOFT software---it is then configured to communicate with sequentially numbered KEYTROLLER radios at ranges up to 500' indoors. Alternatively multiple Ethernet host radios can be configured into the network and increase range with multiple host connection points.
Lastly, the company offers it's inexpensive
CYBERTOOTH Bluetooth "matched" radio pair with range up to 200' and simply eliminates the cable connection from KEYTROLLER to the PC. One USB Bluetooth dongle is plugged into the host laptop or PC and the other is a serial radio that plugs into the KEYTROLLER serial port where it gets it's power. After rogramming and downloading, the user manually moves the serial radio to another KEYTROLLER and makes wireless connection.
