Lift Technologies (USA) has launched an updated line of quad (4 stage) masts in the 3500, 4500 and 5550 lb capacity range (1.6 - 2.5 tonne) that can be customized to suit specific end use applications.
Rick Paddock, Director of Product Marketing, says the new line of quad masts offer exceptional operator visibility due to a new streamlined internal hose reeving design which opens up the visibility window between the inner mast rails. "Our design team set out to not only improve visibility, but to simplify hose and chain routings to further improve an already very reliable quad mast".
The end result is a visibility improvement of 16% on quad masts with single internal hose reeving, which jumps to 30% more visibility with dual internal reeving. Visibility is improved further when these masts are ordered with Lift-Tek Integral Sideshifters. "Operators comment that they like the very clean view through our integral sideshifter, which allows them to see the fork tips more clearly when entering and retrieving loads".
There are several hydraulic options available for the
Opti Vis quad masts which allow customers to order specifically what they need for the various attachments that may need to be installed. Opti Vis quads are offered in 1" (25mm) increments of lift height, all in standard production lead time. "Our manufacturing tooling can be adapted to suit many variations in mast lift and lowered height that are required. This offers our customers more flexibility to order the exact height specification they need, without the long lead times".
