Concept

• The new J series electric trucks' load capacity ranges from 1-1.6T, has 24 volts, AC controlled, rear-wheel driving.
• Quiet CURTIS AC controlled motors operate at variable speeds, unlike DC which is only efficient at full speed.

Ergonomic

• State-of-the-art design makes a clear footwell with well-placed pedals which gives plenty of room for large feet space and helps the driver's working comfort.
• The simple, concise instrument panel minimizes confusion but gives the key warnings to operators.Hydraulic levers can be mounted beside the battery or on the scuttle, giving easy access from either side. The conventional cabin layout allows even less experienced operators to work easily without time-consuming training.
• Clear view mast with soft-landing system allows the forks to settle gently, reducing noise and damage.

Maneuverability

Drive to the rear steering wheel gives safe truck operation in confined spaces. And the steering speed is constant up to full lock and back, a definite benefit for semi-skilled operators.

Electronics

AC motor is the simple brushless motor, requiring less maintenance and better suited to wet and explosive conditions. Key operating features are roll-back control on slopes and regenerative braking - reducing conventional brakes to emergencies and parking. CURTIS AC 24V with GEN2 simplified circuits and sealed electrical units is the industry technical leader. Maintenance is easy and low-cost.

Brakes

• Electric regenerative braking makes J series trucks easy to operating, and in additional benefit is that regenerative braking recharges the battery between 5% and 20%.
• Oil-immersed foot pedal disc brakes are limited to parking, emergency and operator preference. Long life is ensured by the wet brake system.
• A toggle-action parking brake holds firm on inclines of 15% or more.

Side battery change

24V battery is ideal for two or three shifts requirements, and side battery change is a perfect option to change the batteries quickly without extra help.
