The National Road Transport Association (NatRoad) has welcomed the federal government's boost of $2.2 billion to road safety funding.

NatRoad CEO Warren Clark says the announcement by Prime Minister Scott Morrison will continue to provide a further boost for heavy vehicle safety.

"This additional investment, aimed to fix black spots and improve safety in regional roads, will help enhance the safety and efficiency of heavy vehicle operations and reduce fatalities on our roads."

Clark especially welcomes the establishment of a federal Office of Road Safety as "a positive step for the transport industry, and NatRoad looks forward to working closely with the authorities to make our roads safer for everyone".

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
