Hereford, United KingdomHFT Forklifts LTD has appointed Carole Crawford as its new managing director. Carole replaces her husband, Peter Crawford, who is now HFT's chairman. As one of a handful of women in a predominantly male sector, Carole is looking forward to the challenges ahead. "My aim is to help the business grow by strengthening links with existing customers and ensuring we continue to meet and exceed the high standards expected from us," she says.
As part of the restructure, the company has also strengthened its senior management team with second-generation family members, Zoe Ferriday and Jamie Crawford, being promoted to human resources director and commercial director, respectively.
Southampton, United KingdomFuel cell components company Bac2 has appointed David Stirling as a non-executive director. Stirling brings industrial experience to the role, particularly in international business development. He is CEO of London Stock Exchange-listed specialty plastics company Zotefoams plc and non-executive director of MuCell Extrusion LLC, a technology-licensing business based in Massachusetts, USA. Stirling is a chartered accountant with Master's degrees in finance and business administration.
