Daniel Reilly has been appointed president of Carer North America, a new subsidiary of Carer, the Italian manufacturer of counterbalance electric forklifts.

Carer chairman Angelo Gaetani said Mr Reilly, former vice-president of the Material Handling Distributors' Association (MHEDA) and editor of Material Handling Business magazine, was a great addition to the company.

"Dan Reilly is well known and respected throughout the industry. Among his primary assignments will be to represent Carer in establishing a network of independent distributors in North America, which he is well qualified to pursue," he said.
