President and CEO of Konecranes Anders Svensson has resigned from his role effective from 19 July, 2025. Svensson will lead the company until then.
Konecranes states he is leaving to join another company but did not disclose the name.
Konecranes chairman of the board Pasi Lane says: “Anders has significantly contributed to the success of Konecranes during the past two years, and I want to warmly thank him for that already at this stage”.
“During his tenure, the company has updated its strategy, clearly improved its results and generated value for its shareholders,” Lane adds.
The search for Svensson’s successor is now underway.

Italian forklift attachment manufacturer Bolzoni Group has appointed Jonathan Riley to the position of chief operating officer.
Riley has been president of Bolzoni for the Americas since 2019 and will also retain this position.
In his role as COO, Riley will manage global operations and will report directly to Bolzoni CEO Marco Rossi.
“Jon will manage and support the growth of Bolzoni's business worldwide, creating synergies with the Piacenza headquarters and plants,” Bolzoni states.

Umesh Madhyan
Supply chain solutions provider Leap India has named Umesh Madhyan as its new chief operating officer.
Madhyan brings more than 20 experience as a supply chain expert for multinational businesses in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) space, most recently as VP Logistics with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages where he worked for more than six years.
Before that Madhyan held the role of national head of infrastructure and logistics with The Coca Cola Company.
In a LinkedIn post Leap India states: “With over 24 years of expertise in supply chain management and operational leadership, his vision will drive Leap India toward new milestones of success and innovation.”

North American automation trade organisation, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), has named Alex Shikany as its new executive vice president.
Shikany previously served as vice president of membership & market intelligence with A3 and has worked with the organisation since 2012. He brings to his new role more than a decade of leadership experience.
“Alex has been a cornerstone of A3 for over a decade,” the company states. “In his new role, he’ll oversee critical operations, including acting as the day-to-day liaison to the A3 Board of Directors and spearheading the A3 leadership team to tackle industry challenges and seize opportunities to enhance membership value.”
