Dematic has hired Michael Oren to lead the company’s 95-strong American sales team.
As senior vice president of sales for the Americas region, Oren will be responsible for the development of the sales strategy, including nurturing and retaining accounts, driving company growth initiatives and building relationships with strategic partners.
“Michael brings more than two decades of expertise in leading and scaling teams, driving sales, and fostering organizational excellence,” says Mike Larsson, president, Dematic and KION Group executive board member.

Oren joins Dematic from Xerox where he recently served as vice president of global services.
In this role, Oren oversaw global software and services, strategy, business development, partnerships, and more.
Over the course of his 20-year tenure at Xerox, Oren held several additional leadership positions, including US vice president enterprise services, vice president of global sales and vice president of central and eastern US sales.
Oren completed executive master's courses at the University of Navarra, Harvard Business School, and Stanford University and he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing and social psychology from Miami University in Ohio.
Matt Barber
Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) - United Kingdom
Former physical education teacher turned business development guru Matt Barber has been appointed the director of membership at the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).
In his new role, Barber will ensure LEEA members continue to receive excellent support and guidance in an ever-changing world.
“It is crucial that we speak and engage with our members on a continual basis, as they are the ones who are at the forefront of this industry,” he said.
“By creating more channels for our members to interact with LEEA, we can work to increase the awareness of our vision globally and grow our membership.”
As part of the executive management team, Barber will be working closely with LEEA chief executive officer Ross Moloney, who says: “We are delighted to welcome Matt to our leadership team as an important part of our strategic development of LEEA.
“He will be able to provide strong support and representation to our members on a global basis, which continues as a fundamental aim of the association.”
Michael Helmbrecht

Experienced company executive Michael Helmbrecht is Vecna Robotics’ new chief operating officer.
Helmbrecht’s appointment coincides with the announcement of the close of Vecna Robotics’ Series C round at $100 million.
The company plans to use the funds for expanstion and says Helmbrecht will be “instrumental” in these initiatives.
In his new role he will oversee operations, manufacturing, information technology, product and customer succes.
A former Dell, Lifesize, and Ring Central executive, Helmbrecht brings nearly 20 years of operations, product and partnership experience to Vecna Robotics.
He joins the company after a year of scale, including triple-digit revenue growth, over 100% increase in deployments and the successful announcement of an industry-leading performance guarantee.
