Kalmar USA has appointed Joe DeJohn as vice president, director of counterbalance sales. In this role, DeJohn will be responsible for dealer and key account sales and the promotion of Kalmar electric and automated products. 
With over 20 years in the materials handling industry in roles such as regional sales management, national account sales and general sales management, DeJohn brings a diverse range of experience and expertise, particularly in forklift-related sales functions.
Prior to joining Kalmar, he was in sales management at Ring Power Lift Trucks, an industry-leading CAT forklift and Kalmar dealer headquartered in Florida.

René Schrama

Peak Technologies - United States

Peak Technologies has named René Schrama as chief revenue officer (CRO). In his role, Schrama will strategically support future sales growth across all business segments and areas of operation.
Schrama brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Peak’s executive leadership team. He joined Peak Technologies in November 2020 and has served as managing director for Europe since October 2021. 

Throughout his career, Schrama has built and implemented successful business plans by recognising opportunities for growth and developing strategies to execute a vision for significant revenue growth. His experience across different sectors, disciplines and global industries makes Schrama well-qualified to successfully integrate a consistent and effective sales strategy across every operational group within Peak Technologies, resulting in sustainable revenue growth.

Mos Kassaby

Bluestar Global Logistics has appointed Mos Kassaby as its chairman, strategic investor and shareholder.

Kassaby has a long and successful history in the Australian transport sector and is respected for his vision and comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Kassaby’s previous roles include that of CEO of Border Express and general manager – commercial at Star Track Express. 

CEO Muzi Eideh and COO Michael Panagiotou will continue in their current capacities for the foreseeable future to support the continued growth and future development of BGL.
