Terex Cranes has appointed Giancarlo Montanari as business line leader for Terex Rough Terrain Cranes.

Based out of the Terex Rough Terrain Cranes’ manufacturing facility at Crespellano, Italy, Montanari will support the execution of an aggressive and successful distribution strategy for Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, provide a strong contribution and leadership for new product roadmaps and ensure the team excels in providing customer-facing support.

He brings a wealth of experience in the global machinery industry, both in developing distribution and creating successful customer support strategies.

Montanari joins Terex from Argo Tractors, where he was the European sales manager while also having responsibility for the Turkish office.

Christian Bischof

Baoli EMEA - Milan, Italy

Christian Bischof has been appointed to run KION Group’s Baoli brand in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). As managing director of Baoli EMEA S.p.A., he succeeds Francesco Pampuri, who led the organisation on an interim basis since 1 January 2021, and will now focus on brand positioning and marketing activities of the Baoli brand in the EMEA region as director - brand management.

Bischof, 42, graduated in business administration in Germany and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the United States. Since 2009, he has worked for various companies in the KION Group on different continents. Bischof's previous positions include director of marketing and corporate communications at Linde Hydraulics, director of strategy, business development and dealer network at KION North America and, most recently, senior director of market intelligence and corporate strategy at KION's headquarters in Frankfurt .
