Teresa Kee, environmental, health and safety director of NES Rentals, was elected chairperson of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) North American Regional Council at the council's meeting last month. Kee replaces Kevin O'Shea who has completed his term.
Jim Dorris, vice president of health, safety, environment and sustainability at United Rentals, was elected vice chair.
The North American Regional Council allows US and Canadian members to meet and address issues that impact their regional market and gives them a voice internationally at the IPAF Council.

SANY America has appointed John Kuo as director in charge of port machinery products. Kuo will report to SANY America Chairman Tim Frank. He will be responsible for expanding SANY's port machinery business in North American markets and beyond.
Kuo began his career in 1977 as crane service manager for a Manitowoc dealership. He then served as sales director of a PPM Port Machinery and Liebherr tower crane dealership before returning to a Manitowoc, Terex, Kobelco dealership as service and operations manager. He joined SANY in 2008 and served as service manager until 2011, before being named parts director.
