The EDiA EM is designed to operate indoors and outdoorsMitsubishi has unveiled its next generation three-wheel electric counterbalance forklift, the EDiA EM.
Mitsubishi Forklifts United Kingdom sales manager Stewart Gosling says the new model is a “game changer”.
“In particular, five unique features differentiate this 1.4 to 2.0 T three-wheel 48V from any rival, internal combusion engine or electric,” Gosling says.
“For high-speed, tight-turn operations, EDiA EM offers 360-degree steering to deliver smooth, non-stop manoeuvres.
“By eliminating the usual 'pause' associated with a three-point turn, valuable seconds are shaved off each and every manoeuvre.
“That significantly increases throughput over a busy shift. And, because 360-degree steering puts less force on the load, the result is faster, safer and more stable handling with far less risk of load shedding.”
The indoor-outdoor forklift has a electric differential lock that eliminates wheel-spin in slippery conditions, such as ice.
The AutoBoost feature also allows the forklift to tackle steep inclines and ramps.
