Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe (MCFE) has opened a new European rental and used truck centre in Almere, the Netherlands.
As part of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the company, Hans Seijger, vice president - marketing and sales, opened the new 2,500 sqm facility in Almere. According to Seijger, "this new expansion of our business is in line with the global strategy of our mother company, MN, to reach the top (three ranking in the) list of manufacturers worldwide".
The European rental and used equipment operation is headed by Marco de Jager, who joined the company in Spring.
"The new European rental and used operation offers used and rental truck solutions to support both the company's dealer network and the MCFE international accounts team," he explains.
De Jager, former managing director of Liftlease for seven years, has a wealth of experience helping businesses with tailor-made rental solutions. "These can consist of different types of equipment or flexible rental periods. Via our sell and leaseback option, we can provide the customer with capital to reinvest into the core activities whilst he simply rents back the equipment at a fixed monthly payment".
The new centre will work with selected partners in the Benelux market, ensuring instant coverage from day one.
"The practical approach of our company is to meet our customers' rental requirements and offer the best all-round materials handling rental solution, with the up-to-date fleet ranging from the all-time favourite hand pallet truck up to a complete operational fleet," explains Seijger.
