According to Exhibition Director this years MATEX exhibition is set to be one of the most dynamic shows seen in recent times with numerous new product releases planned across the entire warehousing equipment spectrum. "We're delighted with the manner in which the market has responded to our plans," said Tossman, "the Interactive Warehouse and the "hands on" Seminar Program has obviously hit the mark as far as most exhibitors are concerned and we are expecting a very strong presence from the forklift industry."

A number of new product releases are planned from many of the leading forklift suppliers with Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) planning to demonstrate the newly developed hydrogen fuel cell hybrid system for forklifts, as well as new Raymond powered pallet truck including brand new technology and a range of Reach Trucks featuring AC Power. TICO will also be highlighting the BT range of AC Reach Trucks, Centre Ride Order Picker and Powered Pallet Truck.

The Powerlift Group are preparing for the official launch of it's brand new European manufactured range of warehousing equipment entitled NISSAN EURO, and CROWN Equipment - a key sponsor of the Interactive Warehouse - is planning to launch a new man up Turret Truck as well as showcasing the recently released European Reach Truck.

Schaeffer Systems - another sponsor of the Interactive Warehouse will be demonstrating a number of new "SMART" technologies, many seen for the first time in Australia. "The "Interactive Warehouse" and Seminar program will provide an ideal showcase arena and educational environment making MATEX a true destination for visitors and delegates alike," said Tossman. "Most of the companies represented in the seminar program will be contributing to the "Interactive Warehouse" with delegates able to see first hand the work safe practices covered by the speakers," he said.

MATEX will be held on the 30th May to 2nd June at Darling Harbour Exhibition and Conference Centre in Sydney and - once again - will be run in conjunction with National Manufacturing Week.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
