Manchester based forklift and service provider ForkTruck Sales & Hire Ltd have recently supplied two WARRIOR ART15/25 pedestrian controlled powered reach trucks to the University of Manchester as part of its multi million pound warehouse investment. The warehouse, in the centre of Manchester holds stocks of products from expensive chemicals to stationary supplies. Dave Hulton, FTHS MD advised that the University was looking for pedestrian controlled trucks to operate in 3000mm aisles and to be extremely manoeuvrable. The WARRIOR ART trucks are supplied with Zapi AC powered steering as standard and following a successful demo the company had no other choice than to order these extremely versatile trucks. Dave comments that "the trucks were delivered on time and the customer is delighted with them."
FTSH were competing against some well-known suppliers however having already supplied the back-up service for the Universities' other trucks they were well placed to recommend the best solution and back it up with spares and maintenance.
