Philip Shaw, Chief Economist at Investec, will deliver the Centre Stage Theatre's keynote address on the opening day of
IMHX 2019.
Philip will consider how the economy is likely to respond to Brexit as the odds shorten on Britain leaving the EU without a deal.
"A new Prime Minister has been appointed, but are we facing the same old issues, just with different packaging? Can the government get a deal through parliament at the same time as getting an agreement with the EU? Are we looking at another delay to the UK's exit or will we leave the EU without a deal? Philip will consider how the economy might react to these issues and other challenges," says IMHX 2019 Conference Producer, David Tran.
Other speakers on the Centre Stage at IMHX 2019 include logisticians from Ocado, Coca-Cola and Nestle and the topics for discussion cover a range of supply chain-related issues that impact the retail, automotive, property and third-party logistics industries.
In all, over 80 expert speakers will deliver over 100 hours of free-to-attend seminars across four speaker theatres during IMHX 2019. The full conference programmes can be viewed online at
