The Thai refurbishment centre of German forklift manufacturer Jungheinrich has delivered its 1,000th reconditioned forklift.

Jungheinrich opened its Asia Pacific Refurbishment Centre in the Bangkok suburb of Samut Prakan in 2018.

Used forklifts undergo a reconditioning process at the facility to become JUNGSTARS-branded equipment.

"With JUNGSTARS forklift trucks, our customers receive high-performance used trucks with Jungheinrich quality,” says Jungheinrich APAC director of sales and marketing René ten Kortenaar.

"With fleet solutions, the company can react quickly and flexibly to the needs and requirements of its customers in the region. 

“At the same time, used trucks are particularly well suited to increasing sustainability in the material flow. Compared to a new vehicle, up to 80% of emissions can be saved by reconditioning a used forklift.”
